The Deadfast Easy Set Rat Traps are wooden, wire snap traps with a pre-baited plastic cheese pedal for effective rat control.
Adding highly-attractive baits, like peanut butter or chocolate spread on the yellow pedal will increase the chance of success. These mechanical rat traps can be adjusted for a sensitive or firm option and are suitable for indoor & outdoor use.
- Firm setting: easier to set, but will not activate as easily
- Sensitive setting: more difficult to set but will activate very easily
How Do I Use Deadfast Easy Set Rat Traps?
- 1. Remove the staple securing the setting arm bar
- 2. Move the arm bar so it hangs over the back of the trap
- 3. This trap doesn’t require bait, but adding peanut butter or chocolate spread on the yellow pedal will increase chance of success
- 4. Pull back on the kill bar and hold it securely with your thumb
- 5. Place the arm bar over the kill bar and secure under the yellow pedal, between the Firm and Sensitive setting
- 6. Place the trap with the yellow tray against the wall where signs of rodent activity exists
- 7. Once a rat has been trapped the body can be disposed of in a double bag by lifting the kill bar. The trap can be reset or thrown away
