This isn’t a space ship; it’s the 315w CRI-Series Grow Light from DLI!

CMH / CDM / LEC Lighting is the latest addition to HID horticultural lighting. The bulbs are super-efficient, with the red model producing 1.9 umol per watt and the blue producing 1.7 umol per watt – The highest efficiency SE lamp currently available. CMH lamps produce a spectrum that’s close to the sun’s spectrum at a high altitude. The extra UV produced by the lamp will add quality to your crop.

As a standalone fixture, you should use red lamps throughout flower over a footprint of 1m x 1m per fixture. Due to the rectangular footprint of the reflector, a slightly more uniform spread of light can be gained over a rectangular shape such as 1.2m x 0.8m. Use of the blue bulb during flower will produce tight internodal spacing leading to a higher yielding plant come flower time. The red bulb can be used throughout an entire cycle but better results can be gained using a 2-bulb system, where a blue bulb is fitted into the reflector throughout early development and vegetative growth, swapping to a red bulb 2 weeks after the onset of flower.

Expect better results than your current lighting fixtures as these DLI units use a new design reflector and Philips components

When used as a supplementary fixture, the manufacturers recommend placing a 315w CRI-series between 4 x 1000w Joule series HPS fixtures. In this config, a blue lamp should be used to offset the oranges and yellows produced by the DLI Enhanced HPS lamps. Blue is also great as standalone lighting for stock plants, vegetative growth and clone rooms as it gives the plant the best start in life with access to high quality light, leading to healthier growth.

The #FLOWERSONLY Reflector is manufactured to have the highest possible total reflectance at all wavelengths giving excellent PAR rendition. Efficiency and uniformity are the focus in the design of the #FLOWERSONLY Reflector. The unique design and the high uniformity of light results in less hot-spots on the canopy and a more even plant growth. The DLI CRI-Series are Plug & Play with the DLM-4 Zone Controller. A RJ12 Connection Kit is included with each fixture.

The DLI reflectors are manufactured to have the highest possible total reflectance at all wavelengths from 400 to 700 nm giving excellent PAR rendition. The integrated hemispherical reflectance is over 95% with an absence of iridescent colours in the louvre.

The DLI reflectors are made from an electrochemically brightened high purity aluminium substrate coil, and start with an anodised base coat which gives a hard support to minimise abrasion damage. The material is then treated under vacuum with specially developed processes to maximise coating adhesion and is vacuum coated with a super pure reflection layer of 99.99% pure aluminium.

These reflection layers are overlaid with a dual layer oxide system tuned for maximum visible reflection enhancement. This serves to increase the overall reflectivity provided by the metallic layers and adds protection against damage.

How to use the DLI 315w CRI - Series Grow Light

It’s a complete fixture that just needs to be plugged in to get growing

Can be used with a standard contactor or the DLM-4 Zone Controller for the ultimate in control.

DLI recommend using one of these 315w CRI-series fixture for every 4x DLI 1000w Joule series.

The 1000w Joule units will produce an above average yield for a high end horticultural lighting fixture while the addition of the 315w CRI series fixture will increase overall plant structure and quality by reducing stretch at the onset of flower and stimulating the production of flavinoids and terpenes throughout flower.

Use with the appropriate Blue or Red lamp when using as a standalone lighting fixture to mimic the colour of the sun at a particular time of year and to stimulate the type of growth you want to achieve.
