When growing in pots it’s impossible to see inside your chosen substrate, whether soil, coco, perlite, clay balls or a mix of these in any ratio you cant see through the substrate to the roots unless it’s a hydro method without media.
With this handheld ETI Waterproof thermometer probe, you can easily insert the sharp tip directly into your medium to test the temperature exactly where you place the tip of the probe. You’re not just limited to solid substrates either as you can measure liquid temperatures.
While its extremely useful in an indoor garden, you can use the thermometer in a range of applications, including: Baking, Brewery, Barbeque, Catering, Cooking, Candy making, food preparation/ processing or canning.
The unit is compact and lightweight with a total length of 202mm when the plastic sheath is attached. The length of the stainless probe is 120mm, allowing temperatures to be taken from deep within the substrate.

Just turn on the thermometer and insert the probe into whatever solid you’re trying to measure. To use In a liquid, keep the sheath on and place the tip into the solution. The thermometer updates its reading every second to ensure the most accurate results.
