What is Miracle-Gro Patch Magic Dog Spot Repair
Miracle-Gro® Patch Magic Dog Spot Repair is an easy-to-use, one stop solution that repairs lawns damaged by dogs and other animals urine.
Dog urine contains high levels of nitrogen and other salts that burn the grass and cause lasting, unsightly bare patches. This 3-in-1 mix of high performance, salt tolerant grass seed, coir and gypsum is easy to use and quickly repairs your lawn.
Patch Magic Dog Spot contains gypsum, a calcium rich mineral, which works to neutralise and rebalance soil affected by urine burns. If you over seed damaged areas without rebalancing the soil, young seeds don't last long.
The coir absorbs 6x its weight in water and expands to surround the seed in a moist protective layer to germinate.

Using Patch Magic Dog Spot Repair
Use any time between March and September.
- 1. Remove dead grass, rake to loosen soil and give the ground a thorough soaking with water.
- 2. Apply the coir/seed mix evenly – ensure soil is still visible - so seeds have enough space to germinate.
- 3. Water thoroughly until coir turns dark brown.
- 4. Monitor the patches and keep moist - add more water as the coir dries out and turns a lighter brown.
