If you’re using a low-pressure dripper system such as TopSpin, Wilma or DIY dripper, including a professional 20mm filter as part of your plumbing will really help with issues down the line.
Set-ups tend to work great when they’re first set-up and dialled in but over time, sediment and salt deposits can build up in your systems, leading to clogged pipes which can cause an unequal amount of nutrient solution to be delivered to some plants in the best cases, or a complete blockage can cause plant death if unnoticed by the grower.
Threaded sections on filter body: ¾” BSP
Hose tails: ¾” BSP to 16mm barbed
You could also purchase additional 3/4” BSP hose tails in order to connect different size pipe
In low pressure systems, 16mm flexi-pipe or rigid supply tube will be secure with a push-fitting thanks to the barbs holding the pipe in place.
To ensure no leaks from the fittings, you can use worm clips to secure the pipe in place
We recommend cleaning the filter mesh once a cycle to ensure trouble free-running and reduce the chances of contamination across crops.
To clean, simply unscrew the cap and gently clean the mesh filter with a brush and some washing up liquid
