What is Shogun Zenzym?

Shogun Zenzym allows you to recycle growing media up to four times. Zenzym is a natural enzyme formula that reinvigorates previously used media by breaking down unwanted bacteria and recycling dead roots and other plant matter from previous grows.


Zenzym helps increase air gaps and root growth to promote greater nutrient uptake and overall plant health.


Zenzym’s natural enzyme formula employs a blend of cellulase, xylanase, pectinase and glucanase to quickly start breaking down and releasing nutrients in previously used growing media such as coco coir. Newly relocated plants have direct access to the released nutrients and air space, promoting aggressive root growth for a great start to your new grow.


How Do I Use Zenzym

Zenzym is compatible with all types of growing media for Fertigation or Hydroponic systems, used alongside your regular nutrient programme. Zenzym is a bio-stimulant and is not a complete feed.


Shogun Zenzym works between pH 3 to 6.5 and remains effective up to pH 7. Do you want to know what your pH is? See our range of pH testing equipment.


Using Shogun Zenzym as a Root Feed

Zenzym can be used as a root feed. Add 2.5 ml/l to your preferred watering system and use from planting out to harvest.
