The TrolMaster AC Remote Station solves the issue of having to use individual day and night temperature settings on your mini-split air conditioner (AC) units.

The TrolMaster AC Remote Station uses an LCD to show you the current temperature and modes, making it easy to operate. It seamlessly connects with the TrolMaster Hydro-X HCS-1 master controller. The firmware is really simple to upgrade, downloading updates to a Micro-SD card. Single button press address assignment to get the HCS-1 controller to recognise the unit and attach it to the network.

How Does the TrolMaster AC Remote Station Work?

The TrolMaster ARS-1 is a universal controller. It’s compatible with most mini-split air conditioners (as well as some window-style AC units). If the unit comes with an infrared (IR) remote controller, the ARS-1 can control it. 

Use the remote control supplied with the AC unit to "train" the ARS-1 module to recognise the controls. When the ARS-1 learns the remote-control codes, it sends the exact signals to the indoor mini-split head unit, automatically changing the set temperature to the desired Day or Night setting, based on the light-detecting photocell sensor’s status.

Check that your AC unit is compatible with ARS-1 control.
