What Is Veg + Bloom – Shine Flowering Additive?
Veg + Bloom – Shine Flowering Additive is a powerful flower boosting additive. It is used in the flowering stage of the plant' development.
Shine is a phosphite based flowering booster with a host of added ingredients to push plants to swell fruit towards the end of flower. Typically used between weeks 3-7 after flower onset, expect an increased terpene profile, tighter internodes and denser fruit.
Garden tip: Phosphite is a reduced form of phosphate. It is a growth promoting chemical that acts as a bio-stimulant.
What Is In Veg + Bloom Shine?
The Shine formula contains a high-level of plant available phosphorous and potassium. This is thanks to the phosphites. It also contains: crab shell extract, plant cutin isolates, magnesium (in soft water areas, or gardens using r/o, consider adding extra CalMag). There's also an array of essential oil promoting compounds, which work to increase density as well as the terpene and flavonoid profiles. This results in a stronger smelling, tastier harvest.
Formerly known as +Size, Shine will push plants to use up their last available energy into swelling fruit, which will be noticeable come harvest time.
As with all Veg + Bloom dry, powdered nutrients, you’re not paying for water, only the raw, water-soluble ingredients in a stabilised form. It’s also cheaper to ship and easier to store.
How Do I Use Veg + Bloom – Shine?
General Use
Use between 1 – 2 grams per Gallon of nutrient solution, alongside Veg + Bloom base nutrient. Change reservoir water regularly, as the plants soon diminish the available nutrients.
Week 3 Of Flowering
During week 3 of flowering – Use 1g per gallon (4l).
Week 4 to Week 7 Of Flowering
Slowly increase the dose of Shine, while reducing the EC of your base feed. At week 6 or 7, you should drop base feed to ½ and feed shine at 2g per gallon (4.54 litres) of water.
From Week 7 to Week 8 Of Flowering
Week 7 or 8 – Use shine at 1g per gallon with no base nutrient. Feed until 2 – 7 days before harvest to allow time to flush plants.

As per the Consumer Contract Regulations June 2014, you can return goods and receive a full refund under the following conditions:
- You have had the goods delivered within seven working days of delivery from Future Garden Ltd, this starts from the day after the goods have been signed for.
- The items are unopened and in the original condition as when they were delivered to you.
or
- The items have developed a fault during standard use.
- The items are within the manufacturer's warranty period.
