What Is General Hydroponics Final Part (Formerly Ripen)?
Final Part is a comprehensive plant nutrient that is used during the late flowering stage of the plant. Its design aims to specifically speed up and enhance the ripening process. It also increases the natural oil content in active principles of medicinal, aromatic and culinary plants. This type of formulation is referred to, in the greenhouse industry, as a 'forcing solution'.
Final Part is a mix of refined mineral salts and buffers. It's formulated by the GH laboratories, with the greatest precision. When you're looking to finish a crop, accuracy is of the utmost importance. Generally, at the end of its lifecycle, the plant is more fragile and the assimilation process is greatly reduced, compared with the vegetative phase.
How Does General Hydroponics Final Part Work?
Final Part acts at different levels. Firstly, it lets the plant know that its life is coming to an end. This triggers the plant to react, by speeding the ripening process, in a last effort to spread its genes. It forces the plant to reinforce its defences and thus increase its active principles. Final Part offers the plants all the mineral salts they need, in an easy to assimilate form. If there's a previous accumulation of nitrates or other micro-elements, Final Part helps the plants to metabolise the residues, which works to improve the taste of the final crop.
This forcing solution works as a nutrient, with many properties. Outdoors, it enables you to quickly harvest a crop, before it is spoiled by a cold and humid weather. Indoors, it helps you harmonise the end of the cycle by speeding up the ripening of the slowest plants. In case of a severe infestation of fungi or insects, it allows you to accelerate the natural cycle and get something out of a crop, that would otherwise be completely lost.
How Do I Use General Hydroponics Final Part?
Application: Use General Hydroponics Final Part during the final 10 days of flowering.
For hydroponics, or where pH stability is required, dilute Final Part in water and adjust the pH (between 5.5 and 6.5 pH). In Hydroponics/Soil dilute Final Part at a ratio of: 4-5 ml/l, maintain the EC between 1.8 and 2.2.
