Grow Lamps

Plants have different light requirements depending on the stage they’re in hence why different types of bulbs are manufactured that produce specific spectrums and are utilised during different growth stages - Use the right type of bulb to maximise your results.

MH bulbs produce a spectrum that’s heavy in blue light so is perfect for promoting lush green growth and tight internodal spacing, so when you eventually put your plants into flower, there’s the capability for more fruit per branch.

HPS bulbs are mostly utilised in flower due to the oranges and reds that simulate the autumn sun, tricking the plant into thinking winter is coming and prompting profuse flower sets that lead to ample fruit.

Dual Spectrum bulbs are based on the anatomy of HPS bulbs with the inclusion of metallic salts in order to produce more of the blue side of the spectrum. This balances the output of the bulb so it can be used throughout the whole cycle of a plant.

Ceramic Metal Halide (CMD/CMH) grow lights are a recent development that can produce a spectrum that's very similar to the spectrum produced from our sun. Most manufacturers of CMD bulbs sell units in multiples of 315w, so you can purchase a single 315w bulb or a single bulb with two 315w components in for a total of 630w. CMD bulbs boast a high PAR rating, low power consumption and very long bulb life whilst maintaining a high output.

Our range of T5 lights provide the perfect solution for lighting your young plants and mother plants. T5’s don’t use much electricity and produce much heat so they’re perfect for smaller areas where heat build-up could be an issue.

Compact Fluorescent Lighting (CFL’s) use the same technology as T5 lighting but in a much more compact size. CFL’s are also manufactured in a range of wattages so you can find ther perfet lighting solution for your space.
