What is the Green Protect Hanging Clothes Moth Trap?

The Green Protect Hanging Clothes Moth Traps are developed in conjunction with entomologist experts. These discreet and odourless traps are made from FSC materials. They are designed to hang in your wardrobe with your clothes.

The Green Protect Hanging Clothes Moth Traps work as an early alert to the presence of Clothes Moths without using of insecticides. These easy-to-use (and deploy) traps let you take preventative action before Clothes Moths take hold in your wardrobes, drawers and cupboards. The Clothes Moth larvae cause the damage (holes) you see in your clothes. As infestations grow, they go on to cause increasing levels of damage.

The cycle of Clothes Moth larvae feeding on your clothes and going on to breed will continue, until you break it.

The Green Protect Clothes Moth traps are effective for up to 2 months. Each pack contains 2x traps measuring (mm): 230 (H) x 80 (W) x 10 (D).

How Do I Use The Green Protect Clothes Moth Traps?

Direction for use:

  1. 1. Carefully remove the cover paper from the glued trap.
  2. 2. Fold up the two perforated sides - as demonstrated in image 2.
  3. 3. Fold over the non glued side and position it under the top section - as demonstrated in image 3 and 4.
  4. 4. Position the trap within your wardrobe or chest of drawers
    where it will be undisturbed.
  5. 5. Check the trap regularly. In the event of a catch, locate the
    problem area and implement control measures.

The Green Protect Clothes Moth Traps remain active for up to 6-8 weeks, after this time, the glueboard and pheromone should be replaced. Alternatively, if the glueboard fills, replace the board and pheromone.

How Do I Control Clothes Moths?

Cleaning is key to prevent clothes moths as their fragile eggs are often destroyed by cleaning. If the Green Protect Clothes Moth Traps show evidence of a Clothes Moth infestation, you know it's time to remove clothes and clean them to disturb the moth's lifecycle.

As per the Consumer Contract Regulations June 2014, you can return goods and receive a full refund under the following conditions:

  • You have had the goods delivered within seven working days of delivery from Future Garden Ltd, this starts from the day after the goods have been signed for.
  • The items are unopened and in the original condition as when they were delivered to you.


  • The items have developed a fault during standard use.
  • The items are within the manufacturer's warranty period.

  • Please ensure that any parcels delivered are intact and free from damage and unopened, if they appear to show any damage please make a note when signing for the goods, alternatively you can refuse delivery of these items, however only full refusal if multiple parcels will be accepted, in the unlikely event this occurs please contact us asap on 020 8502 7722 or by email
