What is the Dual Tap Connector?

The Hozelock Dual Tap Connector allows two hoses to be connected to a single tap. It has independent water control valves for each outlet and two Hozelock male connectors. It also has the additional option to add a third male hose pipe connector for ‘inline’ use to split out a hose connection anywhere you need to in the garden. This is particularly useful if you have the water pressure and want to use multiple garden sprinklers.


The dual tap connector fits most standard garden taps and is very simple to to install.


Why not use the dual tap connector with a set-and-forget garden watering system and automate your daily watering needs with a digital timer. What Do I Get With The Hozelock Dual Tap Connector?

The Hozelock Dual Tap Connector allows two hoses to be connected to a single tap. Individual, integrated taps allow one or both hoses to be turned on or off. Individual flow control. Separate flow control on each side allows the water flow to be adjusted to flow between 0% – 100%. The water pressure is shared between both outlets with both turned on.


Garden tip:


  • If you have two hoses of equal length the potential water pressure shared is 50/50. Any change in hose length, elevation or resistance of watering accessory may change how the water pressure is shared. You can fine tune how you share water pressure with the flow control taps. You are limited by your mains water pressure. You can boost your water pressure using a garden pump.

How Do I Use The Hozelock Dual Tap Connector?

The Hozelock dual tap connector is easy to install. Simply screw the Y-connector straight on to a standard garden tap or use the included accessory adaptor for use ‘inline’ with your garden hose pipes.


This useful garden watering accessory comes complete with a 3/4″ (26.5 mm) BSP thread, which is suitable for 95% of taps and an adaptor for older 1/2″ (21 mm) BSP taps.

As per the Consumer Contract Regulations June 2014, you can return goods and receive a full refund under the following conditions:

  • You have had the goods delivered within seven working days of delivery from Future Garden Ltd, this starts from the day after the goods have been signed for.
  • The items are unopened and in the original condition as when they were delivered to you.

  • The items have developed a fault during standard use.
  • The items are within the manufacturer's warranty period.
