BioBizz Bio pH Adjusters

BioBizz Bio pH adjusters are formulated from natural, organic sources which won’t harm any beneficial bacteria or fungus, so you can be certain your micro-herd will continue to work in unison with your plants.

BioBizz Ph Down

Biobizz - Bio pH down is formulated from citric acid in an aqueous solution. Citric acid (ascorbic acid / vitamin C) is found in high amounts in lemons and oranges, but is common in all fresh fruit and veg.

BioBizz Ph Up

BioBizz – Bio pH Up is formulated from humic acids that have been harvested from natural sources.

Both the up and down formulations have no NPK value, so you can be sure that your normal nutrient regime will not be negatively affected.

What Is pH and Why Is It Important To My Plants?

PH is a key that control’s the plant's access to certain nutrients. If optimal pH is not maintained, negative effects may start to creep in. Negative effects include nutrient deficiencies, even if there is plenty available in the nutrient solution. The incorrect pH can lock out particular elements, when the pH drifts too much outside of optimal levels.

Correcting pH naturally is essential for plants to absorb the maximum amount of nutrients. The natural formulation of Bio·pH+ enables fast pH adjusting of any type of substrate and for any type of crop, without harming the soil micro-herd.

BioBizz pH range is designed to work perfectly with the rest of the BioBizz nutrient line-up and should be used in every watering to correct the pH to optimal levels:

PH for Soil Growers

6.5 at every watering, soil has the capability to buffer the nutrient solution but better results can be gained when you feed your nutrients within optimal levels.

PH for Hydro systems

Between 5 – 6 pH; it’s a good idea to set your nutrient solution to just above 5 and let it drift up over time, facilitating nutrient uptake right through the optimal pH Range.

When Can I Use pH Adjustment Solutions?

pH Adjustment Solutions are suitable for use during both growing and flowering phase.

How to use BioBizz Bio pH

1. Mix your nutrient mix first, including any additives or boosters

2. Check the pH using a meter

3. Add your pH correction (in small amounts)

4. stir the mixture and test pH again

5. Repeat steps 2-4 until you reach the desired pH.

BioBizz bio pH Recommendations

While BioBizz bio PH has been formulated for use with the rest of the BioBizz range, if you’re using beneficial microbes, the bio pH will protect your micro-herd better than standard pH adjusters.

Pre-dilute pH adjuster in water first to avoid adding too much concentrate at once.

As with all pH adjusters, never mix up and down together and avoid using pH up and pH down together as it can cause some nutrients to precipitate (fall out of solution).

Standard UK mainland orders over £50.00 are eligible for a free standard next working day delivery service (Mon – Fri)*.

  • *Free delivery includes orders up to, and not exceeding, 30kg, that fit in a single, standard shipping box.
  • *Free delivery may exclude orders containing one or more large volume items. Examples of large volume items are, but are not limited to, bags of media (clay balls, perlite, soil etc.).
  • *Free delivery excludes Garden Power Tools.
  • *Large items are sent via a standard 48L (48 hour large) service. Large items take from 2 working days to arrive.

Where possible, orders received by 2:30pm Mon – Fri are dispatched the same day. (*Excluding Garden Power Tools).

As per the Consumer Contract Regulations June 2014, you can return goods and receive a full refund under the following conditions:

  • You have had the goods delivered within seven working days of delivery from Future Garden Ltd, this starts from the day after the goods have been signed for.
  • The items are unopened and in the original condition as when they were delivered to you.


  • The items have developed a fault during standard use.
  • The items are within the manufacturer's warranty period.

  • Please ensure that any parcels delivered are intact and free from damage and unopened, if they appear to show any damage please make a note when signing for the goods, alternatively you can refuse delivery of these items, however only full refusal if multiple parcels will be accepted, in the unlikely event this occurs please contact us asap on 020 8502 7722 or by email
