What Is The HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser?

The HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser is one of the fastest, and best ways to prevent pests and moulds getting a hold in your grow-room. The HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser is the only product of its kind with temperature control. The HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser vaporises Sulphur at around 155°C.

Garden tip: Its important to note that the HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser doesn't burn Sulphur. When Sulphur reaches above 160°C it produces unwanted by-products, which can harm some common plastics, commonly used in greenhouses and polytunnels.

Regularly vaporising small amounts of Sulphur works to help eliminate or limit fungal diseases, such as:

How Do I Use The HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser?

The HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser combines two controls of pest and fungal removal and control.

To use the HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser:

  1. 1. Place the HotBox Sulphur in the Sulphur cup, filling it to about half-full.
  2. 2. When you're ready to close the area down for the night, close the windows and vents in the area to be treated, finally close the door to seal the area.
  3. 3. Using a timer, switch ON the HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser for at least 2 hours. Time the HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser to remain on for 6-8 hours if the infestation is intense***.
  4. 4. The Sulphur vapours will remain suspended until you open the windows, doors, and vents the next day.
  5. 5. Ensure you fully vent the area before entering.
  6. ***Once the problem is back under control, you can reduce the treatment time to regular 2-3 hours.

    Pest Control With The HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser

    Sulphur is a great treatment for any pest infestations. Sulphur is toxic to spider mites and various other grow-room pests. It's a great preventative measure, especially where bugs have been spotted, but not yet become established.

    Fungal Control With The HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser

    Sulphur controls the spread of fungal spores, as they can not spread in a sulphurous atmosphere. One HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser evaporates at approximately 0.5g/h. Different plants are more or less susceptible to fungal and pest problems, and they require different dosing rates.

    Garden tip: A large/industrial greenhouse, or polytunnel, may require more than one HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser.

    Common plants that benefit from greenhouse and polytunnel HotBox Sulphur Vaporiser treatments are:

    • Roses
    • Strawberries
    • Tomatoes
    • Peppers

    Garden tip: Remove unused Sulphur while it's still in liquid form, do not remove old or unused Sulphur by scraping or chipping it away from the application cup.

As per the Consumer Contract Regulations June 2014, you can return goods and receive a full refund under the following conditions:

  • You have had the goods delivered within seven working days of delivery from Future Garden Ltd, this starts from the day after the goods have been signed for.
  • The items are unopened and in the original condition as when they were delivered to you.


  • The items have developed a fault during standard use.
  • The items are within the manufacturer's warranty period.
