What Are Thompson & Morgan Lobelia Cascade Mixed Seeds?
Thompson & Morgan Lobelia Cascade Mixed Seeds are a trailing variety that produce fountains of bloom in burgundy, violet, lilac and Cambridge blue, as well as some bi-colours.
Lobelia 'Cascade' Mixed makes a sparkling addition to hanging baskets, containers, wall gardens, and window-boxes. Lobelia Cascade is an easy to grow annual that is deservedly popular for its versatility and long flowering period.
Garden tip: To promote an endless supply of delicate lobelia flowers, feed, and water the plants frequently throughout the summer.
Where Do Thompson & Morgan Lobelia Cascade Like To Grow?
Thompson & Morgan Lobelia Cascade is fantastic anywhere with height to let the flowers trail down (up to 10"). They like full sun or partial shade positions in containers, hanging baskets or troughs. in a suitable compost.
Caution: Lobelia Cascade can cause irritation to skin and eyes.

The plants generally grow with a height of up to 25 cm (10") and spread: 15 cm (6").
How Do I Sow Thompson & Morgan Lobelia Cascade Seeds?

Sowing Lobelia Cascade Seeds
Sow lobelia from late winter to mid-spring.
Garden tip: Do not exclude light, as this aids germination.
- In late winter to mid-spring, sow the Lobelia Cascade seeds on the surface of a good seed compost in a heated or standard propagator and gently firm down.
- Set the propagator to a temperature of 18-24C (65-75F).
- Keep the soil damp but not wet.
- Germination usually takes 14-21 days.
When Should I Transplant & Harden Off Thompson & Morgan Lobelia Cascade Seedlings Grown Inside?
When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow them on in cooler conditions in a greenhouse or until large enough to plant outdoors.
When lobelia plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant outdoors in full sun or semi-shade on moist, fertile, well drained soil at a distance of 10 cm (4") apart.

- The items are within the manufacturer's warranty period.
