TrolMaster's Hydro-X system can control a large majority of horticultural lighting fixtures sold on the market today. Most quality light manufacturers provide the ability to control their lighting systems using low-volt controls.

The TrolMaster range encompasses several varieties of lighting adaptors (LMA units). Each LMA allows the Hydro-X to control different manufacturer lights, using their low-volt control option. This LMA-14 lighting adaptor is custom-designed to control any LED grow light fixtures or other lights with a 0-10V protocol. Low-volt control can take many forms and communication protocols.

What is Low Volt Control?

Low voltage electrical systems are popular as they produce less heat than high voltage electric systems. Common voltage control improves reliability, increases efficiency and enhances safety by distributing, monitoring and managing the power running through your grow lights.

What are the Features and Benefits of The TrolMaster Lighting Adaptor F?

The TrolMaster Lighting Adaptor F sits between the TrolMaster controller and the grow lights that you want to control using the TrolMaster Hydro-X HCS-1 control system. The unit includes a LED power indicator to show power and control status. The Adaptor F unit converts a digital signal to an analogue signal to allow a seamless connection to a Hydro-X controller using ah RJ12 Cable. The Adaptor F unit is plug & play, and arrives ready to use right from the box.

How does The TrolMaster Lighting Adaptor F work?

The LMA-14 lighting adaptor is designed to manage HID (High Intensity Discharge) grow lights and LEDs.

Each LMA-14 is capable of controlling up to 40x HID lights or 24x LEDs. You can use additional LMA-14 adaptors with the TrolMaster SPH-1 RJ-12 Splitter Hub to control as many lights as you need.

The TrolMaster lighting adaptor F allows the Hydro-X system to manage your plants' daily lighting needs. It will efficiently direct your lighting system by using the TrolMaster’s connected sensors and your pre-configured scheduling to conduct light timing functions and advanced functions, including auto-dimming, overheat shutdown, and sunrise & sunset simulation. Having two separate lines allows you to develop multiple lighting arrangements and dimming sequences based on your unique preferences.

What is the Difference Between the TrolMaster Lighting Adaptors?

The Hydro-X System can control most lighting systems that offer a low voltage control option. The LMA adaptor range allows you to use the Hydro-X control system with many brands of HID, CMH and LED, to control Dimming on/off functions.

Certain Light Manufacturers use a communication protocol that requires one of the following LMA adaptors to control those lights.

The LMA-14 is compatible with Luxx, Grower's Choice, NanoLux, Gavita, Fluence, Bios, Scynce, 2 Wire 0-10V Dimming Meanwell Driver, and 0-10V Ballasts.

returns policy

As per the Consumer Contract Regulations June 2014, you can return goods and receive a full refund under the following conditions:

You have had the goods delivered within seven working days of delivery from Future Garden Ltd, this starts from the day after the goods have been signed for.
The items are unopened and in the original condition as when they were delivered to you.

The items have developed a fault during standard use.
The items are within the manufacturer's warranty period.
